Hello! My name is Sam. I live in New York City with my parents. I plan to be writing this blog about nature. Some people do not know there is nature in New York City. But I have seen blue jays, squirrels, raccoons, spiders, butterflies, worms, centipedes, slugs, snails, ants, turtles, ducks, geese, hawks, crayfish, chipmunks, mice, rats, sparrows, robins, crows, caterpillars, bees, beetles, fireflies, grubs, fish, and of course, pigeons. And what about ladybugs?
There are also lots of plants too, such as trees, flowers, grass, weeds... We have forest in the park, lakes, rivers, swamps, fields, hills, valleys, and beaches all in New York City. I saw seagulls and pelicans at Coney Island.
I am so impressed that you've seen so many interesting animals in the city! Who knew?
