Many animals walk or run on land. Some swim or fly. Others climb in trees, such as monkeys or lemurs. Some hop on the ground such as kangaroos and wallabies. Some animals slither such as snakes. There are some animals that do not come up above ground, they crawl, dig, or slide underground. Some animals barely move at all, such as three-toed sloths, barnacles and sea anemones.

This is a lemur. He says, "Woo-hoo!" because he is so high up and he is having so much fun. |

Woosh! |
I like what you said about the Lemur being happy. When we (all creatures) are allowed to do what we are meant to do, we can be content and happy. A sloth wouldn't want to run a marathon right? And a marathoner like Aunt Robyn, wouldn't like hanging out in a tree, hardly moving around at all!
ReplyDeleteThat is true! A sloth would NOT like running a marathon. And Aunt Robyn would NOT like hanging out in a tree, barely moving at all. Thank you for putting the comment, Nana.
ReplyDeleteYou are so welcome...I am VERY proud of you!
